Great Intentions, but Too Manipulative
I recently interviewed Samantha Brett, co-author of The Man Whisperer: A Gentle, Results-Oriented Approach to Communication on my talk radio podcast program "Upfront & Straightforward with Alan Roger Currie." I purchased this book to prepare for my interview with Ms. Brett. Samantha and I had a great discussion about the contents and advice offered in her and Donna Sozio's book designed to help women improve their dating relationships with men. After reading the book though, I was frank with Samantha: Much of the advice given to women in "The Man Whisperer" really comes down to a pleasant, subtle, easily acceptable form of manipulation.
I love the fact that Donna and Samantha are letting women know that they don't have to bitch at men, whine constantly, nag men, and/or act like a spoiled brat to get much of what they want...
The Man Whisperer: A Gentle, Results-Oriented Approach to Communication is one of best selling in Love & Romance category.
